Hey, everyone!
I’m currently in Northern Ireland but I wanted to give a little update on my reading progress in this gorgeous country. It’s been amazing so far! Even though the plane flight was brutal, there’s been plenty of downtime to read and spend time with my family across the Atlantic!
The atmosphere and countryside here are so beautiful and serene! Absolutely perfect surroundings for a peaceful reading time! I’m living by the sea right now with the chilly sweater weather and I couldn’t be happier. Not to mention the tea! Genuinely like a fairytale!
I am currently halfway through Tuesdays With Morrie by Mitch Albom! It is such a sweet and heartfelt story. I would absolutely love to meet and talk to Morrie! The wisdom he shares is so amazing and introspective and has all the experience of a life well lived. He speaks on life, death, family and the meaning of living. Mitch shares all this from his point of view and the way his interactions impacted his very relatable lifestyle. So far the pace, writing style, and chapter length has been perfect and the vibe has matched my Irish trip to see my equally as wise grandparents perfectly! So far I totally recommend this book especially for a peaceful, nostalgic trip like this!
