Its February 2026 and I finally got to visit Barnes & Noble with my lovely debit card! So let’s see what I bought!
#1 The Perks of Being a Wallflower (by Stephen Chbosky)
I bought this book because I have heard SO much about it and the movie so I thought ‘Let’s see what all the hype is about!’
#2 The Bell Jar (by Sylvia Plath)
I am very excited about this one because people love Sylvia Plath and I’ve always wanted to read her work! I’d love to also read her diaries someday soon!
#3 The Virgin Suicides (by Jeffrey Eugenides)
This is another one I got recommended. I love stories full of mystery, trauma and darker themes! (and also the cover is really beautiful!)
#4 Girl, Interrupted (by Susanna Kaysen)
If you guys didn’t know I just finished Girl In Pieces by Kathleen Glasgow and it was amazing! This one is about a girl who gets sent to a psychiatric facility and her story! Very excited!
#5 An Archive of Romance (by Ava Reid)
This one is a companion novella to one of my favorite duologies ever; A Study In Drowning Duology by Ava Reid which is a magically dark tale of Fae and academic discovery. Ava just released this novella and it is so beautiful! It’s full of mementos, illustrations and other gorgeous art and writing. I’m really excited to get to return to Effy and Preston’s world!
